Double Glazed Units

Every double glazed unit we manufacture pairs two panes of float or toughened glass around a warm-edge spacer bar, with the cavity between them filled with argon gas and hermetically sealed to stop it escaping. That combination cuts heat loss through the glass dramatically compared with single glazing, while the spacer bar keeps the edge of the unit warm enough to resist condensation and cold-bridging.

We manufacture to the exact size and specification your frame needs, whether that's a straightforward replacement pane or the glazing for a full house of new windows, and every unit is built to current Building Regulations for thermal performance.
